Pooh's and Roo's 3 Months - 2 Years

Pooh’s and Roo’s has three main areas for babies to explore, develop and play. From ‘peek a boo’ in the large mirrored area, to sensory play in the ball pit, or getting messy and creative in our arty area, babies have a wide range of fun activities to keep them busy and engaged throughout the day.

It is our aim to ensure that your baby’s transition from your home to nursery is as smooth as possible by offering as many settling in sessions that you think your child will need.

PIGLETS 2 – 3 YEARS

Toddlers are sure to have fun in our Piglets room! Fostering imagination with choice, children can enjoy independent, creative play with our wide range of Duplo blocks, Stickle bricks and puzzles. Our role play area with a kitchen, pots and pans, play food, dolls, teddies and dressing up helps develop little. imaginations whilst our cosy reading area is for those who fancy some play. Our children are also encouraged to try new things and have the opportunity to participate in fun baking and gardening activities .While their new found independence blossoms, your child will feel reassured by the constant care, supervision, support and security of our staff.

Tiggers: Christopher Robin Preschool Room 3years - 5years

Our pre-school room supports and encourages your children in all areas of development as they prepare for their move to primary school. This room is shared between the older children in the nursery, to support their transition from Tiggers. A balance of adult-led and child-initiated activities are delivered through a play-based environment whereby our practitioners use their knowledge and understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage Framework to support and develop the 7 areas of learning and development.
